Raptor-class ships are the warships of NOVA, built on large space stations in Earth orbit that NOVA controls entirely.

Design

Raptor-class ships are distinct for their wings, which let them work in deeper orbits around planets and moons, even through atmosphere. They carry front sensors and are renowned for targeting systems that can lock and fire missiles as part of the same action, with extra missiles to match.

Escorts

NOVA's escorts are well known as interceptor craft that can damage ships up close with ease. These Kestrel escorts are built to attack ships and other escorts. In NOVA, an escort is commanded by a skipper, not a captain. See Ship types.

Names

NOVA ships carry the prefix NS and noble ideas, such as Aspiration, Exploration and Justice, or the names of old Earth cities. See Ship names.
