Titan class
Titan-class ships are the warships of the Kingdom of Saturn. Like every faction class, they began as Sovereign blueprints and were specialised by the Kingdom's own yards. A Titan-class ship outperforms stock Sovereign class in particular roles, not across the board.
Shields
Titan-class ships cast a strange energy shield known only to the Kingdom of Saturn. No other nation has it or understands it. Many suspect it is alien in origin, though nobody knows where Saturn got it.
Guns and sensors
They mount powerful gun decks with fine sensors that can hit targets further out than most ships.
Beauty aboard
The Kingdom's vessels have a reputation for beauty, with art aboard and gold and silver used extensively inside: the sort of display the Ceres Cooperative looks down on massively. Individual nobles fly their own heraldry: crowns, coats of arms, Saturn itself, and bright primary colours.
Names
Queen's ships are prefixed HMS and draw on the old kingdoms of Earth: Victory, Speedy, Ishinawa, Horoshina. See Ship names.
Notable ships
- H.M.S. Haguro: Princess Lianna's cruiser, flagship of Her Majesty's twenty-third garrison flotilla. It spins to give its crew simulated gravity.
